Here at Smoke-N-Brew Roasters, we are excited to share our unique smoke roasting method, which allows us to control the amount of desired smoke level, determined by you, allowing time for the enhancement of all the cupping flavor notes, without making the coffee taste bitter or burnt, producing one of the smoothest cup of coffee you will ever taste.

 

 Why Smoked Coffee and What Makes Us So Different?

We are excited to share with you our unique smoke roasting method ! It allows us to control the amount of smoke to your desired level and allows time for the development of all of the key cupping flavor notes to shine through. This is a different type of roasting method, and the smoke does not penetrate the bean or alter its flavor, in fact it enhances them and many people say they don't even taste the smoke. We use a combination of only the finest woods consisting of Cherry, Oak, Maple, Hickory, Pecan, and/or Adler. This Process is different from traditional roasting in that in a drum it takes about 10-16 minutes of a constant temperature, creating more of a baking flavor, where as with our method it creates a smoke roasting flavor and each batch takes about 1- 1 1/2 hours of roasting at various Temperatures depending on your smoke roasting level that is determined by you. By roasting our beans this way, we are able to provide you with a unique cup of coffee without it ever tasting a bitter or burnt flavor that you can sometimes get with traditional roasting, therefore producing one of the smoothest cups of coffee you will ever taste!
